We sit on Hayes Street in Midtown, in the 37203 zip, next door to the Hayes Street Hotel. Music Row and Vanderbilt are within walking distance, the Gulch is a short hop, and Lower Broadway and downtown are only minutes away. If you are staying nearby, working in the area, or heading out for the night, we are an easy, unfussy stop for real Mexican food.
A full bar and a mural worth a photo
This location has a full bar and makes its margaritas from scratch, including the Cucumber Jalapeno with fresh jalapeno and 1800 blue agave and the lighter Skinny Margarita. It is also home to La Catrina Gone Country, a mural painted by Music City Murals that gives the space a real Nashville-meets-Mexico feel and makes a great backdrop for a photo. TVs are on for the game, and parking is free in our own lot, which is a rare thing this close to downtown.
What to order
The best seller is the LP Special. Pick up to two grilled proteins cooked with onions and bell peppers, served over Mexican rice and covered in hot melted cheese. The menu runs deep from there: fajitas, street tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos, and build-your-own combinations. Feeding a crowd? The Fajita Meal Pack serves ten for $170 with chicken, steak, or half and half, plus rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, and tortillas. Call the restaurant to order it.
Weekly specials
Two nights a week are built for regulars. Taco Tuesday takes half off all tacos every Tuesday from 5 to 8pm. Thursday is LP Special night, half off the LP Special for dine-in from 5 to 8pm. Join the Las Palmas e-club and we will send you a free order of cheese dip plus coupons you can use all year.
Everyday discounts
Las Palmas takes care of the people who take care of the city. Seniors 60 and up get 15% off any adult meal and beverage order, every day. Active and retired military, law enforcement, EMTs, and firefighters get 15% off in uniform or with a current ID. College students get 10% off with a valid student ID.
