Las Palmas Debuts "La Catrina Gone Country" by Music City Murals

The mural/parking lot is roped off Monday - Friday 2-5 pm, and Saturday - Sunday all morning until 3 pm for optimal photo ops. During time frames outside of that window, there may be cars of Las Palmas customers parked near or in front of the mural.

Las Palmas Mexican Restaurante is proud to unveil La Catrina Gone Country, an epic mural at their Hayes Street location by Music City Murals and Anthony Billups. It is a tribute to both Nashville and Hispanic-Mexican cultures, two things near and dear to the Las Palmas family.

Drawing inspiration from Mexico and the brightly colored skulls associated with Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), the mural centers around La Catrina, a symbol of this annual Mexican holiday. It is also an ode to Music City, featuring Johnny Cash, June Carter, Roy Orbison, Chet Atkins, Freddy Fender, Taylor Swift, Hank Williams Sr., Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson.

We are excited to debut La Catrina Gone Country in the midst of Hispanic Heritage Month and ahead of the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The mural is located at 1905 Hayes Street in Nashville, Tennessee.
